Always Celebrate the Good in You

It’s important for us, especially in our nation today, to learn and imbibe the value of celebrating that which is good. We must genuinely celebrate the success of those whose work and achievements impact on our country positively.

If you’re a journalist, practice good journalism, research your information properly, and use your platform to celebrate others and not to defame them. Use your editorials to celebrate the good in our nation; aggrandize the successes and high flying achievement of our illustrious citizen. This would inspire healthy competition and help challenge others for success.
It’s better to light a candle than to curse darkness. The gospel is good news, and that’s what our pastors do preach: that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not holding their sins against them. This is the same message He has committed unto us his children. So, letting people know that righteousness, divine health and healing prosperity, success and the good life are their present-hour inheritance in Christ is not just a “feel good gospel,” it’s the “true gospel.”

In the same way, celebrating excellence and encouraging positive competition through the mass media isn’t mere “feel good journalism” but something needed in our nation at this time, to foster the ongoing positive renaissance and re-branding crusade. Let’s celebrate, publish and propagate news of award-wining companies, corporations and organizations, so others can be challenged. Let’s not aggrandize evil and negativism. Let’s keep celebrating that which is good in our nation.
