Rejoice Always

How determined are you to rejoice each day? It is unbelievable that God wants us to rejoice always and be glad always despite the sorrows and trials that hunt man day after day. You know it is easy to rejoice as long as people treat us right, and we are healthy. No one needs to encourage you to rejoice when your account is buoyant and the economy is up. But God tells us to be glad-hearted continually and always. Is this possible?

Yes it is. It is possible to be glad in the good times, when it is sunny and when it is ranking. It is possible when we remember that right above those dark clouds the sun is shining. When those dark clouds are over your head and you feel like life is unkind and unfair, just remember you have a God who is consistent in his love. He will not allow the storm to sink your boat for He is always in the boat with his own.

Every cloud is temporary and has a life span. Some years ago, I took a flight from Port Harcourt to Lagos, while we waited for departure, the cloud gathered and most of the passengers became apprehensive. When we boarded, the pilot announced that though it was cloudy and the sun was still above, we need not fear. True to his word, as we took off just above the low clouds, the sun shone brightly and our flight was a smooth one, Beloved friend always believe that God is around
