Your Set Time To Arise And Shine

You Can Rise and Shine. When the Spirit of God, through the Prophet Isaiah, declared that you “Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee”, he wasn’t referring to something coming on your physical head. Rather, He was talking about the anointing of God on your spirit and radiating through you. In the next verse, He tells you why this is your set time to shine: “For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.”

That means irrespective of the suffering, troubles, trials, and pain prevalent in the world in these last days, you will shine. The glory of God will be seen in your life as you keep declaring the Word of God concerning you, for His Word is where the glory is. The more you declare the Word in faith, the more the glory will rise upon your spirit! That’s how to “arise and shine.” These are the last days preceding the return of the Master, and according to the Bible, the world will experience perilous times (2 Tim. 3:1); things will surely get tougher in the world. But refuse to fret, for you can never be disadvantaged. The greater the darkness in the world, the brighter your light will shine.

The Bible declares that the whole of creation awaits the manifestation—the shining forth –of the sons of God (Rom. 8:19). It’s your set time to shine; God has raised you to provide the answer and direction that the world needs. You’re the light of the world; therefore arise and shine, for this is your time!
